As health care professionals, we strive to provide the best care for our residents throughout the year. The survey process, however, often lasts less than one week and offers surveyors only a brief window into the quality of care you provide year round. It is essential, therefore, that you adequately prepare for the survey, and ultimately manage the survey, in order to accurately present the best of all that you do for your residents.

During this presentation, participants will:

  • Explore the role of Activities and Social Services staff throughout the survey process - prior to, during and following the survey.
  • Learn how to conduct a self review to assess survey readiness.
  • Understand the significant value of the Quality Indicator (QI) Profile as a tool for self review.
  • Understand the meaning and intent of F248, F249, F250 and F251 as well as other F tags related to service delivery for Activities and Social Services.
  • Gain confidence in communicating with Surveyors

What kind of CEUs do you offer?
All our courses include NAB (NHA/RCAL), NHAP, RCFE/ARF, and California BRN (most states provide reciprocation). We do not yet offer social work CEUs, though we plan to in the future.
Do I need to take a test to prove I attended a class?
If you take an On Demand class, you must take a test to verify your attendance. If you take a live class, we must only verify your attendance through sign in.
How do I register?
Search the classes and offer tabs to find a package you want to purchase. If you decide to purchase, you will register for the site during the purchase process. You can also call us at 888-852-3888
How will I know that my order went through?
When your order has been successfully submitted, you will immediately see a "Thank You" page that provides you with your order confirmation number. You will also receive a confirmation email shortly after you place your order. This will contain all the details about this order.
